- Audit smart contracts to uncover logical flaws, vulnerabilities, and inconsistencies
- Use automated tools to streamline and enhance the auditing process
- Write Proof-of-Concept (PoC) tests to demonstrate vulnerabilities
- Provide clear, actionable recommendations to address identified issues
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM SC AUDITOR AT MIXBYTES:
- A passion for breaking things—combined with the ability to put them back together better
- A hacker mindset with proven skills to back it up
- At least 1 year of experience auditing Solidity smart contracts or over 10,000 lines of code reviewed
- 2+ years of development experience in languages like C/C++, C#, Rust, Java, Python, Go, Solidity, or Vyper
- Hands-on experience with tools like Slither, Echidna, Foundry, or Hardhat
- Deep knowledge of Solidity, Vyper, DeFi protocols, and the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in English for creating documentation and audit reports
- An understanding of memory management, CPU/network operations, and concurrency challenges
- Expertise in algorithms, security, cryptography, networking protocols, operating systems, and high-load systems
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Hands-on experience with *nix systems and command-line tools
- Familiarity with consensus algorithms
- Experience participating in audit contests (e.g., Sherlock, Cantina, Code Hawks)
- Regularly analyzing public checklists and hacking case studies
